If I put my own tune onto the mp3 Doorbell (series 9 RDWL917A), what formats are supported?

The mp3 doorbell (series 9 RDWL917A) can support most mp3 files, sampling rates (<48kHz), bit rates (<320kbps), mono or stereo. The doorbell does not support .wav or other audio formats.
