I am having difficulty connecting to my Clear 4G WiFi router during the WiFi registration process?
If you have a "Clear" 4G brand of WiFi router, you may experience difficulty in registering this thermostat during the WiFi registration process. You may try these procedures for Clear 4G routers if you cannot immediately connect via WiFi:
Try re-enrolling the thermostat from the WiFi setup menu
Try power-cycling the thermostat and re-enrolling from the WiFi setup menu
Attach an external wireless access point to the Clear 4G router and re-enroll

Please note that your WiFi Smart Thermostat will be automatically updated with a new software release (Version 1.4) over the next few days. To receive this update, you must have your thermostat connected to WiFi and registered with Honeywell Total Connect Comfort.
Your thermostat will be automatically re-booted and your screen may go temporarily blank during the upgrade process. Normal voice control and thermostat operation will resume in a few minutes.
Version 1.4 provides the convenience of "programming by voice" as outlined below:
Programming by voice simplifies the process of making an ad-hoc program schedule change; enabling you to quickly adjust your scheduled program on the thermostat in response to day-to-day variations in your routine or family schedule. Simple, one-step voice commands allow you to adjust the temperature for today, for a specified time in the current day, a time in a future day, and also adjust the start time for a specified programming period. The WiFi Smart Thermostat with Voice Control provides the convenience of voice-controlled, temporary temperature holds as well as temporary overrides to your scheduled program on the thermostat. With voice programming, comfort can now be managed on your time, your schedule, and using your preferences.
