If your house is newly built and your Lyric was preinstalled by the contractor
First, you will need to download the Lyric app to your mobile device. The app is available for iOS and Android in iTunes or Google Play. You will need to create a Lyric account following the instructions in the app, or click
here for a step-by-step guide.
You will next need to reset the thermostat's Wi-Fi. Hold down the weather button on your thermostat for 5 seconds to reset the Wi-Fi network. Then follow the directions in the Lyric app to begin managing your Lyric thermostat.
Note: The app will walk you through the full process, including installing the Lyric on the wall. Since the Lyric is already installed, press “Skip Install" to proceed to the Configuration step. If your house had a previous owner who did not provide you with access to their Lyric thermostat It is likely that their thermostat is still registered to the previous owner in our system. If possible, contact the previous owner and ask him or her to add you as a user for that thermostat's location. Then, remove the previous owner's access to that location and adjust the location settings to reflect your preferences.
