Yes, the Lyric will work with most residential multi-stage heating systems.
For conventional forced air systems such as oil and gas furnaces, the Lyric will work with any combination of:
Single stage and two stage heating systems
Single stage and two stage cooling systems
For heat pump systems, the Lyric will work with any combination of:
Single stage, two stage and three stage heating systems
Single stage and two stage cooling systems
This includes both heat pumps with electric backup systems (auxiliary or emergency heat) and heat pumps with gas backup systems.
