Do I need to go into Advanced Configuration to install my Lyric thermostat?

No. The Lyric app will walk you through the key configuration options as part of the installation process. Advanced Configuration contains additional features that you may wish to explore, such as the option to display the temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
