I am using the secondary security for my Lyric app, but I just opened my app and wasn’t asked for the code. Why?

Re-authentication is required every time that the lyric app is brought to the foreground (opened) after 12 hours of running in the background. Re-authentication is required every 24 hours if the app is running in the foreground.
