How do I connect my SmartStart Z-Wave thermostat?

Resideo's Z-Wave thermostat offers SmartStart technology, offering a seamlessly effortless installation of the device. Our thermostat is pre-configured to automatically recognize, validate, and be added to the Z-Wave network.

1. Activate the Z-Wave Smart Hub / Gateway.
2. Scan the SmartStart QR code with your Z-Wave Smart Hub APP.
3. Power on your Z-Wave thermostat.
4. The device will appear in the Z-Wave Smart Hub / Gateway user interface.

If the device has not been powered on, a "find devices" function will identify them to allow for pairing to the Z-Wave network.
