My thermostat is unable to register to the Total Connect Comfort website?

Total Connect Comfort is a website for remote control to Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostats, that can be used as an alternative to the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app which is available for both Android and iOS.

To register your thermostat to the Total Connect Comfort website you have to follow these steps, in this order:

  1. Enroll your thermostat on your Wi-Fi network. This procedure is different, depending on your thermostat model and is explained in your user manual provided in the package. If you do not have the user manual, you can find it on this website. Just browse through our list of Wi-Fi Thermostats, select your model, then go to the bottom of the page and open the user manual. Make sure that your thermostat display shows "CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL". This shows that the Wi-Fi Enrollment procedure has completed correctly.

  2. On your laptop or mobile device, in the window used for Wi-Fi enrollment, you will be prompted with three options. Select "CONNECTION SUCCESS". A new option will appear on screen, "REGISTER THERMOSTAT". Clicking on this option will bring you to the Total Connect Comfort. Please note at this point, that for step 1 your laptop or mobile device needed to be disconnected from the home Wi-Fi Network so, to have access to Internet again you need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.

  3. On the Total Connect Comfort website - if you haven't already - you need to create an account. The first time you visit you will need to select your region and country. Then click the Create an Account icon. Read and Accept the End User License Agreement. Enter the required contact information on the Create an Account screen and click Next. An activation e-mail will be sent to you, containing the activation link. This may take a few minutes. You may need to check your junk or spam filter mailbox for the activation email. If you still cannot find the activation email, you can try to use an alternate email account to register your thermostat. If you register with an alternate email and are still unable to find the activation email, please call Honeywell's Customer Care at 1-855-733-5465.

  4. Once you complete the registration process, you can access My Total Connect Comfort and control your thermostat from anywhere by visiting mytotalconnectcomfort.com from any device.
