How do I add or remove devices in the First Alert App?

Users can add new devices via the app dashboard by selecting the "+ Add Device" button. Follow the in-app directions specific to your device to complete the connection.
*Adding devices allows for remote control via the First Alert App, and registers the device to your account.*

Users can remove / unregister devices by selecting the desired device within the app, selecting the settings "cog wheel" (bottom right corner), and then selecting "Delete Device"
*Deleting / unregistering a device will remove all 3rd party integrations*

Each device can only be "registered" to one user. If multiple users are needed, see "Using the First Alert App" FAQ for information on creating/ managing multiple users.

If you no longer need control / ownership of a device (ex- I sold my home and need to pass my thermostat, doorbell, etc. to the new owner) see the " How do I add or remove devices in the First Alert App?" FAQ for instructions on deleting your device(s).
