Resideo App message: “Registration Error – This thermostat is already registered to another account”

If you know the previous owner, ask them to delete the thermostat from their account (within the app, they’ll tap Settings, then Thermostat Configuration, then Delete Thermostat). If you don’t know the previous owner, contact Customer Care to unregister the thermostat at 1-800-633-3991.
